Visit this unique cathedral
site, combining the ruins of the "old"
14th century building destroyed by firebombs in
1940, with the "new" cathedral that rises
from the ashes. The new cathedral provides a rare
opportunity to see major works by prominent 20th
century artists. Limited access for wheelchair users.

| A reconstructed Roman Fort from the
1st century AD. The Granary building contains a
museum of Roman Life with archaeological finds from
the site and a model of the Fort in 64AD. A unique
Gyrus for training horses also stands on the site
but the reconstructed ramparts are decaying as their
natural life comes to an end and are fenced off.
Parts of the site are difficult to access by wheelchair
users. |
