Located in the glorious Shuttleworth Estate, the Birds of Prey centre is home to over 200 birds of prey coming from a large range of interesting species, including owls, hawks, falcons, kites, vultures and pelicans. There are also a wide variety of activities on offer at the Birds of Prey Centre, such as coming face to face with some of the animals that the centre possesses, or impressive demonstrations of their abilities.

The Priory Church of Saint Mary, commonly referred to Bushmead Priory, used to be a building devoted to an Augustinian monastery. Bushmead Priory has stood for over 700 years, between the villages of Colmworth and Little Staughton. The site is property of the English Heritage Commission and is open to guests during on weekends during the spring and summer. There have been several revisions to the Bushmead Priory, giving visitors an interesting insight to the Priory’s architectural history.

Situated in the attractive, landscaped Wardown Park, the museum provides a range Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire regimental gallery. The Park Museum hosts four short-term exhibitions a year on diverse subjects, and there are events hosted throughout the year which cater to all ages and interests. The ground floor of the museum houses the lace, exhibition and Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire regimental gallery. There is also an intriguing gift shop that sells souvenirs local history publications and old photographs.
