
The Hotel Du Vin in Cambridge is a small and stylish venue situated on Trumpington Street near the heart of the historic city and very close to some of the University of Cambridge’s colleges. Parts of the building date back as far as medieval times, however in its existing form it opened as recently as 2007. The building has been renovated in order to make the most of its interesting architectural design. The hotel is typically stylish and elegant in keeping with the Du Vin tradition, which includes hotels in Bristol, Brighton, Winchester and York.
The Cambridge’s Du Vin provides an excellent location from which to explore the city, one of the UK’s most historic and privileged cities. The hotel has just 41 guest rooms, including standard rooms, superior rooms and studio rooms in ascending luxury. There are also small, large and grand suites that offer added extras and increased space. Open for each meal of the day is the Bistro which focuses on European cuisine from an open style kitchen. In addition there is a cellar bar with an array of champagnes, wines and other drinks.
There is also a special wine tasting room to quench the Du Vin focus on the beverage, while the private dining room is suitable for various events. In addition, the Library and the Bar are the places to enjoy afternoon tea. Finally, there is a meeting room for private functions, which are suitable for work socials, drinks receptions and day meetings.
