The ABode Hotel Chester is a brand new addition to the Chester hotel scene, built on the location of the former Cheshire Constabulary Headquarters. Opened in spring 2010, this luxury four-star hotel in Chester has a great location adjacent to Chester Racecourse, perfect for a day out at the races. It is also only a short walk from the historic city centre, and many areas of the hotel offer lovely views across the city and towards North Wales. The ABode Chester Hotel is not a venue to visit for the traditional ideals of standard and superior rooms. A stay here takes place in one of the hotel’s Comfortable, Desirable, Envious or Fabulous rooms. A Comfortable room roughly equates to Standard accommodation, while at the other end of the scale Fabulous choices are the luxurious suites. Whether you feel like being enviable, desirable or simply fabulous, each room is filled with contemporary touches such as LCD TV, locally sourced refreshment baskets and wet rooms. Many of the rooms here also provide great views across Chester.

The ABode group is renowned for its Michael Caines dining experience, something which is shared by the ABode Hotel Chester. The hotel offers two restaurants. Its signature diner is the fifth floor Michael Caines Restaurant, with a modern British menu and vistas across the area. There is a Champagne Bar next to the restaurant, with classic drinks and a light menu. On the ground floor sits the MC Café Bar & Grill, a relaxed place for a filling breakfast or a quick bite to eat at any time of day. Moving into the evening, the AbarMC lounge has beers, spirits and cocktails and a resident DJ.

The youthful ABode Hotel Chester is a great venue for a stylish weekend break in Chester, and it benefits from a convenient position close to Chester Racecourse and the city centre. However, as a self-proclaimed four-star luxury choice, the hotel contains additional facilities to create an ideal stay. This includes two meeting rooms – a boardroom and a suite for larger events - as well as a private dining space. There is also a gym at the hotel.
