Each of the rooms at The Swan Hotel Grasmere has been equipped with the amenities demanded by today’s hotel visitor, yet the essential character and charm of this delightful 17th Century coaching inn have been preserved. Many of the 38 en suite rooms at the hotel command beautiful views across the garden and out towards Helm Crag and Dunmail Raise. Guests may choose between Classic, Executive or Feature rooms.

Classic rooms at the hotel are well appointed and extremely comfortable. They contain a satellite TV, work desk, tea and coffee facilities, iron and board, trouser press and hairdryer as standard. Executive rooms are similar in appointment but somewhat larger, including an additional seating area.

Feature rooms include canopy and four-poster rooms, and have a greater choice of amenities, including complimentary mineral water and bathrobes. The hotel can also provide ground floor rooms for guests needing improved accessibility accommodation. Dogs are accepted for a small surcharge.
