The Swan Hotel Grasmere has a great onsite restaurant, named for one of local son William Wordsworth’s poems. There are also two lounges and a bar available for a quiet break or resting your feet after a day spent exploring.

The Waggoners Restaurant features an award-winning team of chefs who show great attention to detail as they prepare an eclectic menu of traditional British dishes, making use of fresh Cumbrian ingredients for breakfast and dinner. There is also an extensive wine list to complement the fine cuisine, as well as a warm and friendly atmosphere.

There are two lounges, the Cygnet and Green rooms. Both offer a laid back and relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy a cup of tea or an evening whiskey. Finally, Walker’s Bar is a lovely pub style environment providing pub meals, real ales, and a beer garden during the summer.
