Gulliver’s Kingdom is a theme park located on the hillside of Matlock Bath. It is specifically aimed at pre-teens, with meet-and-greet characters, shows and amusements, and a good selection of rides and gentle rollercoasters. There is plenty to entertain the kids, and the elevated views across Matlock Bath are pretty impressive on a sunny day. It is open during the summer season, with a Christmas events programme.

Matlock Bath Aquarium is located within the former Victorian hydro building, from when the area was a popular spa resort. The aquarium is spread throughout the venue and the spa pool is now home to a collection of carp. The museum also contains a fossil exhibit, and an example of a petrifying well, where the mineralised water appears to turn objects to stone.

The Peak Rail service offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy a traditional steam rail experience through the Derbyshire countryside.
