Unsurprisingly, the River Bar and Restaurant is sat overlooking the River Irwell on the relevant side of the Lowry Hotel Manchester and so offers an excellent setting for dining. Like the rest of the hotel, the restaurant and bar is modern and elegant in design, in keeping with the property’s five-star status. While in the restaurant guests can enjoy a typically British meal and breakfast, lunch and evening meals are all available here as well as afternoon tea. What’s more, there is a private dining area for groups of up to 20 people.

If the weather is good then the Terrace at the Lowry is an excellent spot for drinks and meals while in the Manchester area. Guests can lap up the sun as they sip their morning coffee or as they indulge in a tasty breakfast or brunch.
