True to the Malmaison philosophy, each of the 167 en suite rooms, including standard facilities, at the Manchester hotel has been designed with its own individuality and style, each with a unique personality and character. Standard bedrooms are decorated with bold, confident colours with striking and dramatic furnishings. Malmaison is famous for its in-room provisions, which include understated lighting, large beds, CD player, satellite TV, power shower, aromatic Mal toiletries, free internet access and 24-hour room service.

Also in keeping with Malmaison’s typically stylish and elegant rooms, the hotel has a range of superior bedrooms with twin and double beds. They are more spacious than the standards and are home to many of the same amenities including complimentary wireless internet for the first half an hour.

As with the superiors, the executive bedrooms at the Malmaison Manchester have twin and double facilities. The rooms are en suite, of course, while other features include an iPod dock and an LCD television.

For a taste of real luxury, Malmaison also offer a number of sumptuous suites.  For a more glamorous stay, you have the choice of traditional, cinema, Manchester or super suites. Each category has its own distinctive highlights. Traditional suites have a king-size bed and open plan appointment, slate bathroom with monsoon shower, and plasma TVs with DVD player. Cinema suites are ideal for movie buffs, with their very own screening room complete with 52” screen, designer surround sound and automated blackout curtains.

There are two duplex Manchester suites, the Best and True Blue, each one dedicated to one of Manchester’s football teams. There are also two super suites: the Theatre of Dreams, named for the Old Trafford stadium, and the seductive Moulin Rouge. Both super suites have huge beds, two flat-screen televisions with surround sound, striking lounge bathtubs and champagne and strawberries on arrival.
