Click for travel directionsThe Goring Hotel London is a beautifully refined boutique hotel in the city’s elegant Belgravia. There are few, if any, hotels that can boast such a prime position so close to Buckingham Palace and St James Park. The hotel was first opened in 1910, and has remained in the Goring family for four generations so far.

London’s Goring Hotel has always been ahead of its time, being one of the earliest hotels to install en suite bathrooms, heating and air-conditioning, and today remains a formidable accommodation choice with all the little luxuries to make your stay perfect.

During the First World War the hotel served as a command centre while many famous visitors have lived or stayed at the property over the years. Such guests have included Winston Churchill’s mother, politicians and monarchs, all contributing to the history of the Goring which celebrated its centenary in 2010.
There are gardens that make up part of the establishment and they are ideal for a relaxing break during the day or a stroll in the evening perhaps. The hotel gained the gardens in 2005 from the Duke of Westminster and they are beautifully manicured and nurtured as you would expect of a five-red-star hotel such as this.

This Belgravia Hotel is perfectly located in the centre of London, just off Buckingham Palace Gardens. Victoria rail station is a few minutes’ walk from the Goring, making regional rail connections and underground transport across London very easy. However, this area of London is not lacking in attractions, with, of course, Buckingham Palace and St James Park positioned practically next door. Hyde Park is also within easy reach, and Knightsbridge with its designer shops and the museums of Exhibition Road are a leisurely stroll away.
