Click for travel directionsThe Zetter is a stylish boutique hotel in the Clerkenwell part of the nation’s capital and describes itself as a ‘small hotel with a big personality’. The Zetter first opened its doors in 2004 after two restaurateurs dreamt up the venture having bought the former Victoria warehouse three years earlier. The hotel takes its name from the football pools company that was once housed in the building. Once it had opened, the Zetter received praise from the likes of the Times, Time Out and Mr and Mrs Smith. As well as a number of rooms, there is a restaurant, a bar and a couple of meeting rooms at this top London property.

Located in one of London’s fashionable districts, the Zetter is found on St John’s Square in Clerkenwell amid some of the city’s cultural draws and influences. Just outside are the striking cobblestones of the square while the City with its financial institutions is a 10 minute taxi ride away. The closest major train station is at Kings Cross and St Pancras, while Farringdon underground is the nearest tube stop to the hotel. There are several things to do and see in the area, such as the St John’s Gate Museum, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern and Somerset House.

There are 59 bedrooms at the Zetter Hotel each of which is designed uniquely and features a number of classy touches and quirks. The Zetter Restaurant is set on the hotel’s ground floor and looks out onto the nearby square. There is also the Atrium Bar which is suitable for snacks, coffees and other beverages during the day. Finally, for meetings and events there are two small facilities, while the atrium can also be used for certain types of activity.
