Click for travel directionsThe Connaught Hotel is one of London’s most exclusive five-star luxury hotels. Such is its reputation for opulence, style and grace that the Connaught has become synonymous with discreet elegance, making it a firm favourite with those who appreciate the finer things in life. This London hotel’s consistent excellence in accommodation, service and facilities has earned the venue five coveted red AA stars. This places it in the upper echelons of the Top 200 Hotels in the UK and Ireland, with this precedent culminating in the Connaught being named the AA’s Hotel of the Year Award in 2009.

London’s Connaught Mayfair Hotel was built in 1897 and was initially given the name the Coburg Hotel after Queen Victoria’s husband. Over the years many high profile guests frequented the luxurious hotel, not least because of its top position in this part of the nation’s capital. In 1917 the hotel was given a new name, this time taking its label from the Queen’s third son who was Duke of Connaught, a name it has retained to this day.

What better way of taking in the kaleidoscope of attractions London has to offer than with a stay in one of the country’s finest hotels? Situated close to the heart of the celebrated West End, the Connaught Mayfair has all of London’s entertainment, culture, shopping and nightlife on its very doorstep. Being so centrally located, the property is also easy to reach by train or underground rail services. Parking is available close to the hotel, although London’s congestion charge applies to those arriving by car.
