There are plenty of options for dining and drinks at the Rubens Hotel near Buckingham Palace; there are two restaurants, two bars and a lounge. Firstly, there is the Masters’ Restaurant which is ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner and offers a traditional carvery meal. The ornate restaurant serves from only the best ingredients such as Aberdeen Angus beef.
Alternatively, there is the Library Restaurant which boasts an AA rosette for its efforts and which serves a range of British and international dishes for your enjoyment. The restaurant is open in the evenings from 7pm and uses fresh ingredients to create the likes of grilled Dover sole.
The Cavalry Bar is the ideal option for drinks with friends and colleagues and is adorned with military features, while on certain evenings a pianist is assigned to tinkle the ivories in the background.
The Leopard Champagne Bar recently opened and serves all sorts of beverages from around the world as well as snacks and baked items. The bar looks out over the Royal Mews and is also available for parties of up to 10 people.
Finally, the Palace Lounge boasts good views of the Royal Mews and so guests can watch the horses pass by as they take on board some afternoon tea.
