The award-winning Feversham Arms Hotel is a four-star venue which is to be found on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors in the market town of Helmsley. In recent times this family-run property has won award after award and in 2009 it was recognised as AA hotel of the year. Further, the small Victorian venue opened its spa in 2008 and also gained an additional star courtesy of AA in the same year. Formerly a coaching inn, the Feversham Arms Helmsley was rebuilt in 1855 and was known by several different names over the years. A number of additions were made as the years wore on and the hotel changed hands on plenty of occasions, with the final handover in 2003. Since then it has gone from strength to strength, putting it into the award-winning position in which it finds itself today.
