There are 63 rooms at the Eastgate Hotel; all have been refurbished and add a touch of contemporary flair to the hotel’s enormous character and charm. With a history spanning four centuries the accommodation varies in size between each bedroom. Rooms on the top floor have sloped ceilings, which will be considered cramped by some and cosy by others.

There are single, double and twin rooms, and space capable of accommodating families is available on request. There is a lift but primary access to all floors is by stairs. The hotel does have one improved accessibility room for guests requiring wheelchair access, situated to the rear of the building. However it should be noted that all communal areas at the Eastgate Hotel involve stepped access, including the front entrance.

All of the rooms are en-suite, with soft mattresses, armchairs, tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer, television, iron and ironing board, Internet access and mini-fridge. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas (charged).
