Rutland Water is one of the largest man-made lakes in Europe, and what better way of taking in the scenery than on a cruise. Alternatively, it is possible to walk or cycle next to the lake, while water sports are another option in this part of the country. Around the expansive lake you are likely to see various forms of wildlife and there are a number of bird hides to help with this.
