Tracy Park Hotel & Golf Resort – also known as The Park Hotel - is a striking property set in the countryside between Bristol and Bath. The hotel lies amid 240 acres of lovely green parklands, gardens and golf courses. The beautiful Jacobean mansion is an award-winning boutique establishment that is ideal for weddings, leisure breaks, golfing weekends and conferences. Situated amid the expansive Tracy Park Estate, the hotel was famously the inspiration for Birtwick Park in Anna Sewell’s timeless novel, Black Beauty. The land around the hotel is steeped in history: the park was mentioned in the Domesday Book, and the Battle of Lansdown took place nearby during the English Civil War. It was not until 1973 that this 17th century structure was transformed into a hotel, after it was bought by auction.

The Tracy Park Hotel Bath takes up an idyllic position in the Tracy Park Estate. There is plenty to do at the hotel, its position ensures there are many places nearby to which visitors can venture; among them are the likes of Longleat, Dyrham Park, Westonbirt Arboretum and Stonehenge. The hotel is also less than a 20 minute drive from both Bristol and Bath.

The Park Hotel has 24 boutique bedrooms set in the old stables part of the property, which come in standard, superior, luxury and suite categories. As you’d expect, the rooms are stylish and comfortable and feature a range of convenient amenities for your use. The food is described as ‘country casual dining’ and is some distance away from the normal fine dining experience. The Park Hotel dining room offers a traditional Sunday carvery.

Board meetings, banquets and wedding celebrations are examples of other activities that can be held at the venue.
