Chessington World of Adventures, near Epsom in Surrey, is the South of England’s number one theme park. There is something to excite all the family, from exhilarating rides and attractions such as the white-knuckle Vampire and Rattlesnake, to gentler activities like the Wet and Wonderful Bubble Works. Runnymede is a historic flatland area of Surrey. It is most famous as the area where King John signed the Magna Carta. The area is primarily maintained by the National Trust. There are plenty of pleasant walks available, allowing visitors to explore the many memorials here, including one to JFK. There is also a tearoom in the vicinity.

Thorpe Park is an action packed day out for the whole family. Situated near Chertsey in Surrey. It is home to some of the UK’s most exhilarating rides, including the Nemesis Inferno – a feet-free, suspended roller coaster with a volcano theme and dramatic special effects. Visitors can also experience the white-knuckle Quantum and Colossus, the world’s first 10-loop roller coaster. In addition to these terrifying rides, there are also more sedate attractions.
