The value bedrooms are the smallest bedrooms in the hotel and so have slightly smaller double beds which have one side next to a wall, ideal for single business visitors. The rooms do, however, exhibit all the amenities you’d associate with the Thistle hotel group including a safe, wireless internet and televisions.

Despite the County Hotel’s traditional exterior the bedrooms are fairly modern in design and feature various aspects and amenities to boost the physical comfort of those who pass through. There is 24-hour room service for those hoping to eat in their rooms, while for business users in particular wireless internet access is available.

In the executive bedrooms visitors can use the additional space to unwind in thanks to the presence of a seating area. Bathrobes and slippers provide extra features to go with the normal products such as telephones, televisions, tea and coffee and desks.

The elegant junior suite is to be found on the fifth floor of the County Hotel Newcastle and so offers good views of the surroundings. There is an attached sofa and chair space with windows overlooking the city.
