The Barcelo Walton Hall, along with its neighbour the Walton Hotel, is set in a large estate in the middle of the Warwickshire countryside. The traditional stately home is part of a 65 acre establishment near Wellesbourne just to the east of historic town Stratford-upon-Avon and to the south of county town Warwick. The surroundings are truly picturesque with much open green space, trees and lakes. The former home, parts of which date back as far as the 1500s, has been carefully transformed into a luxurious four-star property.

This is all just 10 minutes away from the nearest junction of the M40, while Warwick train station also provides access and is approximately 20 minutes away. Further, there is plenty to see and do in this the heart of Shakespeare country. Among the activities to experience and sights to see are: the impressive Warwick Castle, the Stratford Butterfly Farm which is Europe’s largest, Hatton Farm Village with all its animals and shops and the award-winning Compton Verney art gallery.

There are more than 50 guest bedrooms at the hall, a figure which includes some suites. Also included in this number are 19 coach house rooms which offer something a little different. The venue’s restaurant looks out at the beautiful grounds which surround the building. In addition to the restaurant there is a bar which offers a comfortable place in which to relax and it too looks out at the gardens and lake.
