Coventry's Herbert Art Gallery and Museum is situated a couple of minutes walk away from both the Cathedral and the city's main city centre shopping area. The gallery offers an all-year programme of exhibitions and events, including ‘Godiva City’, an exhibition about the history of Coventry from earliest times to the present.

Holy Trinity Church is the parish church of Coventry and dates back to the 12th century. Located in the city centre the church is home to the ‘doom’ wall painting which was restored in recent years. Among the parts of the church are 14th century misericords and stained glass windows of course.

Here visitors will find more than 100 vehicles from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Collection (with 30-35 on display at any one time). Many of the collection are original, just as they left the factory, and are fully operational. Portraying over a century of outstanding automotive design, fine engineering and world-leading car development, the trust also boasts an additional behind the scene tours which is available by appointment.

Lunt Roman Fort is a reconstructed Roman Fort from the 1st century AD. The Granary building contains a museum of Roman life with archaeological finds from the site and a model of the Fort in 64AD. A unique Gyrus for training horses also stands on the site but the reconstructed ramparts are decaying as their natural life comes to an end and are fenced off. Parts of the site are difficult to access by wheelchair users.

Among Coventry's newest visitor attractions, the Priory Visitor Centre is found on the site of the city's first Cathedral founded by Lady Godiva and Earl Leofric and demolished in the 16th century. Opened in 2001 in an award-winning building, the centre tells the story of the Benedictine Priory of St Mary's using objects discovered during the archaeological excavation of the site.
