Colne Valley Museum is a fascinating collection of three weaver's cottages of the 1840s, complete with restored weaver's workshop, living-room and a reconstructed clog-maker's workshop. The Galpharm Stadium, formerly known as the McAlpine Stadium, is the home of Huddersfield Town Football Club and Huddersfield Rugby League Club. The uniquely designed 24,500 all-seater stadium was awarded the prestigious RIBA Building of the Year award in 1995, and is open for guided tours.
