The Met Hotel Leeds is a beautiful grade II listed building that has a traditional exterior appearance that blends with a fairly contemporary interior throughout its bedrooms, bathrooms, meeting rooms and restaurant. Formerly known as the Metropole Hotel the Leeds Met opened its doors first in 1899 as one of the city’s white cloth halls. Famously, the Met Hotel was the first such property in Leeds to boast a lift and electric lighting.
