Seasons
The Horse and Groom Inn day starts with either full English breakfast or a continental alternative, helping you to kick off the morning with a hearty breakfast. Guests can also enjoy lunch or dinner in the restaurant, which is open from 12pm through until 11pm, with various bar meals, sandwiches and old favourites adorning the menu. The restaurant has been very well received, gaining an AA rosette and a mention in the Michelin food guide.

The menu mixes pub favourites with gourmet British dishes. The menu is lovely and you may find it difficult to choose just one thing from the menu. The choices vary, and there are regular specials, but guests can enjoy such dishes as smoked salmon fishcakes, fillet steak medallions, and a glazed lemon tart to finish.

The inn seeks to provide quality cuisine at reasonable prices, and does so with the help of as much locally grown produce as possible. Indeed, many of the ingredients used to concoct the Horse and Groom menu come from within a 40 mile radius of the inn. Wines, house ale (Archers) and all sorts of other drinks are also available to go with your meal or simply for an evening drink with friends or family.
