Seven ancient stone circles can be found at Beaghmore near Cookstown. All of the stones are associated with burial cairns, creating a mysterious and popular tourist attraction. The Beaghmore Stone Circle was discovered in the 1940s and it is free for visitors to explore at any time of year.

Creggandevesky Court Tomb is 50 feet long by 40 feet wide and is believed to be between 4,000 and 6,000 years old. The site contains three burial chambers, inside of which the remains of 21 people have been found. Taking up a position near Lough Mallon, the tomb is two miles from the nearest town An Creagan.
