The Crown Hotel has something of a reputation for good food and wine and is set in a particularly picturesque corner of the Dumfries and Galloway region. The hotel is set next to the water’s edge and looks out at the Portpatrick harbour. It is known for its seafood in particular which is served into the conservatory restaurant and contains local produce where possible.

The Globe Inn opened in 1610 and so, as you can imagine, offers a traditional and historic setting in which to dine while in the town. The Globe was a favourite of Scottish poet Robert Burns and it was here that the famous Burns Supper first came to the fore.
