Scone Palace is a stately home and one of the most historic sites in Scotland. Scone Palace has a wealth of artefacts on show, but most importantly this was the location of the Stone of Scone. The Stone of Scone was the place where the kings of Scotland were crowned, up to King Charles II in 1651. Today, the stone resides at Edinburgh Castle, and a traditional chapel sits in its place. Scone Palace is a five-star historic house attraction, and a great location for a conference or wedding, and offers a whole range of events throughout the year.
