Bangor’s pier is one of the longest in Wales, jutting out more than 450 metres into the waters. It was built in the final years of the 1800s, but within less than 100 years it had fallen into disrepair. Rescued, given grade II listed status and extensively restored, it is now a wonderfully traditional addition to the area.
