The Skirrid Mountain Inn looks up at its namesake and is arguably one of the most atmospheric pubs you will ever visit. The oldest pub in Wales and likely the oldest in Britain, the inn has stood since at least 1110. Formerly an alehouse, courtroom and execution site, the Skirrid Mountain Inn is said to be haunted by those hanged from its beams over the years.
