The Beaumont House, Windsor

The large Beaumont House is a grand country house set near to the royal town of Windsor. The building dates as far back as the 14th century and is truly a sight to behold with its white facade and its portico all adding a sense of luxury to the impressive 40 acres of parkland. The Hotel is located close to Windsor Great Park while the land itself has much green scenery and a lovely lake outside the front of the building. The venue does indeed fit in well with its position in the area thanks to its rather majestic look and feel. From its private location it is almost hard to believe that the M25 and M4 motorways are just five minutes’ drive from Beaumont House. A number of other Principal Hayley hotels are also set in vast woodland – two examples are the Selsdon Park Hotel and Wotton House in Dorking. There are a number of day trip opportunities in relatively close proximity to the Hotel – the Legoland and Thorpe Park theme parks, Windsor Castle, Wentworth and Windsor racecourse.

A recent refurbishment has ensured a fresh and modern feel to the Hotel’s interior, no more so than in the 330 bedrooms. By air: The Hotel is approximately 15 minutes from Heathrow Airport.

By rail: The Egham and Windsor train station are just five minutes from the Beaumont.

By car: From the M25 - Exit junction 13 (A30 Staines). At the roundabout, follow the signs for the A30 to Bagshot/Egham. This takes you alongside the M25 southbound. Travel to the next roundabout and follow signs for the A308 Windsor. You'll pass the Runnymede Hotel on your right. Continue straight until you reach a mini-roundabout. Take the left exit for Englefield Green A328 and then turn immediately right into Burfield Road. Beaumont House entrance is on your left-hand side.

From the M4 - Exit at junction 6 and follow the signs for Windsor and the A308. Continue following the signs for Staines and the M25 on the A308. Go past a pub on your right called the Bells of Ouseley, and at the next mini-roundabout turn right signed for Englefield Green A328. Turn immediately right into Burfield Road. Beaumont House entrance is on your left-hand side.
