About the Berystede Hotel Ascot
The Macdonald Berystede Hotel and Spa is a beautiful country house set in exquisitely landscaped grounds in the Berkshire countryside. Fashioned in the style of a French chateau, complete with turrets, this distinctive hotel is supremely comfortable and offers a host of wonderful facilities, including a croquet lawn and putting green.
The Berystede Hotel Ascot even boasts its own ghost, the mysterious “Blue Lady”. The hotel underwent a substantial £10million redevelopment in 2006, during which the hotel facilities and accommodation was thoroughly updated.
Rooms and Dining
Following its refurbishment, the Berystede Hotel Ascot contains 126 non-smoking guestrooms, all beautifully furnished in a style sympathetic to the 19th century period building, but with up to date touches. The most sumptuous accommodation is in the hotel’s four-poster rooms and suites, in which you will feel like the lord or lady of this country manor. The refined Hyperion Restaurant is the hotel’s fining dining choice, while the sporting themed Diadem Bar’s pictures of famous racehorses combine with plush leather armchairs to give the flavour of a gentleman’s club.
Meetings and Events
The Berystede Hotel Ascot has a new, state of the art conferencing centre with 15 stylish and flexible suites offering event facilities for up to 500 guests. It is ideal as a venue for international conferences, being just 20 minutes from Heathrow and 45 minutes from Central London. Of course, this well appointed traditional stately building is also perfect for wedding celebrations, with the gorgeous Windsor & Eton Suite able to let you share your day with 300 of your closest friends.
Leisure
The Berysted Hotel Ascot is now home to the impressive Vital Health and Beauty Club and Spa. Vital has everything you need to relax and unwind, including an 18m swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, thermal suite, technogym, and of course a choice of treatment rooms and therapies. Outside the hotel there are numerous opportunities for days out, including theme parks in the shape of Legoland, Thorpe Park, and Chessington World of Adventures. Alternatively, Windsor, Reading, Oxford and London are within driving distance.
