Our menu offers non-vegetarian and vegetarian choices, ranging from a full breakfast to home-baked, fresh from the oven croissants served with equally delectable muffins.
Taste quality Cumbrian produce, including handmade sausage and bacon made locally. Fresh milk and eggs are delivered daily by the local dairy: milk is still bottled the old fashioned way – topped with cream; eggs are large and have that tasty, yolky flavour from large orangey yolks.

Built in 1868, Blenheim Lodge is reminiscent of a gentleman’s residence of yesteryear, with 10 en-suite rooms and one with private bathroom. Set in a quiet, elevated position and overlooking Lake Windermere and Old Bowness, our 4-diamond guest house boasts panoramic views of the Lake, mountains and fells beyond.
Our bedrooms are individually appointed, with most decorated in Laura Ashley colours and soft furnishings, and furnished with lovely pieces of French antique furniture. Each room has a hospitality tray, colour TV, and access to hair dryers. Luxury bath sheets, hand towels and quality toiletries are also provided.
The Langdale has a half-tester double bed with panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the mountains beyond. You can lounge in comfort in the huge floor to ceiling triple bay windows and admire the glorious views. The Fairfieldhas a beautiful Louis XV suite with a king-size 5' bed. An antique iron daybed set in the triple bay windows offers an irresistible resting place to enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views to the north of Lake Windermere.
The Dalesway boudoir features a fabulous Louis XV double bed with roccoco details and a daybed with its original decoration still intact. The quietness and tranquil countryside that you can see from the triple bay windows create an 'away from it all' feeling. If you are lucky, you will see the wild deer graze.
The Blue Room has pretty French painted antique furniture, including two dainty chairs set in the window for you to relax and admire the Lake views. Enjoy your beauty sleep in the stunning solid brass bed. The bespoke pocket sprung mattress is so comfortable!
The Poppies is situated on the ground floor, with views to the north of Lake Windermere. Pretty French lighting and a romantically styled white-painted iron bed from Feather and Black make this small bedroom a cosy retreat!
