About the Brown's Hotel London

Brown's Hotel LondonThe elegant Brown’s Hotel London is ideally located in the centre of London, near to areas such as Piccadilly, St James’ Park and the upmarket Bond Street with all its shops and prestige. The hotel is to be found at the heart of the Mayfair district and offers a ‘quintessentially English’ place in which to stay whether travelling for business or leisure purposes.

Brown’s Hotel Mayfair has benefited from a recent £24 million refurbishment and overhaul and so its position as a top five-star hotel has been consolidated further still.

Brown’s Hotel Mayfair History and Location

Browns Hotel Mayfair, comprising 11 Georgian town houses, came under the jurisdiction of the Rocco Forte group in 2003, joining further UK venues in Edinburgh and Manchester. It was back in 1837 that the building first came to be used as a hotel though, making it the city’s first hotel, a somewhat historic feat. It is its position on this 18th century street in the nation’s capital though which contributes to its distinction and sense of occasion.

Indeed, it is near to many of London’s top attractions such as Buckingham Palace just to the other side of St James’ Park, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament a little further away. Just to the north of the hotel guests can venture to Oxford Street and to the north of there the likes of Regent’s Park and Marylebone.

London’s extensive transport network means it is easy to reach this centrally-located hotel; it is near the Green Park underground station which links to the Piccadilly and Victoria lines. Alternatively, if travelling in by air, Heathrow Airport is an approximate 45 minute journey on the busy streets of the capital.

Bedrooms and Dining

Brown’s Hotel London contains a total of 117 stylish and attractive guest bedrooms, a figure which includes 29 luxurious and extravagant suites. Guests would do well to make the most of the Brown’s Hotel London’s new restaurant, the Albemarle with its focus on traditional British cuisine. The chefs bring together a menu of classic dishes and use seasonal produce where possible. There is also a bar and a tea room located within.

Conferencing and Leisure

For meetings and events Brown’s Hotel Mayfair has a choice of six facilities which can be set up in banquet, boardroom, theatre, reception and classroom formats. Events are tailor-made to suit the needs of the specific activity, not least for weddings, an occasion the hotel pays close attention to.

To relax, choose between a whole host of spa treatments, massages, rubs and indulgences, while offering something more active there is a gym which is open 24 hours of each day.
