complete without a cruise on the Dee - the best
way to appreciate the beauty and character of this
great city. Bithells Boats offer cruises of half
hour duration every 15 minutes during the season
and craft are available for private charter, day
time and evenings. A particularly attractive 2 hour
cruise to the Ironbridge through Eaton Estate, home
of the Duke of Westminster, leaves The Groves at
12 noon daily throughout the season.
Themed BBQ cruise every Sunday evening on board
our showboats 7.30-11pm.

be seen in the present building, which reflects

An interesting innovative and attractive
museum in Chester Castle, a Grade I Listed Building.
It is always developing new ideas to interpret
the stories of the men of the Regiments of Cheshire.
These include the Cheshire Regiment, the Cheshire
Yeomanry, the 3rd Carabiniers and the 5th Inniskilling
Dragoons. With special activities, events and
exhibitions throughout the year there is something
for everyone.

One of the best ways to appreciate
Chesters' 2000 years of history is to take one of
our fully guided open-top sightseeing tours. Tours
last 55 minutes but your ticket is valid all day
so you may get on and off the tour as you please.
Frequent departures every day from various stops
around the city including the Station, the River
Dee, Town Hall and Lower Bridge Street.
Save money with a bus and boat tour ticket which
includes a trip with Bithells Boats on the River
Dee. Tickets can be purchased from the Chester Visitor
Centre, the Tourist Information Centre or from the
driver of the bus. |
