The Chester Grosvenor Hotel and Spa is a magnificent hotel that dates from 1865, and is located in the very heart of the historic city of Chester. Chester is famed for its incredibly well-preserved Roman walls, its beautiful cathedral, the remarkable Victoria Clock and the 'Rows' - the unique, medieval galleried streets – home these days to a plethora of speciality shops.

Prestige and grandeur are bywords at The Chester Grosvenor Hotel and Spa. From the moment you set foot in the Grade II listed building, with its black and white, half-timbered façade, you are immediately aware of the traditions and heritage of this fine hotel. It is owned by, and named after, the family of the Duke of Westminster, Gerald Grosvenor, whose family home can be found within three miles of the hotel in the nearby rolling Cheshire countryside. Constantly adapting to meet the ever changing needs of its guests, The Chester Grosvenor Hotel and Spa is proud of its meticulous attention to detail and unparalleled levels of service. In recognition of this, the hotel has been awarded five red stars by both the AA and RAC, and also holds the ETC Five Star and Gold award.

With such a central location, it is the perfect base from which to explore the many fascinating sites the city has to offer, in particular the city walls that run past the hotel. From up on the walls it is possible to obtain a superb elevated view of Chester's daily life.

Chester is such an easy city to reach by virtue of its proximity to the motorway network that links Liverpool and Manchester to North Wales. Manchester International Airport is a mere 30 minutes’ drive and Chester mainline station is just 5 minutes by taxi from the hotel.
