As the smallest county in Ireland County Louth has perhaps fewer opportunities for shopping than many other destinations. Larger towns such as Dundalk and Drogheda host a number of shopping centres where major retailers have a presence, although many of the county’s smaller towns and villages offer limited shopping opportunities in terms of major brands.
Nevertheless, visitors looking for local arts & crafts or produce are in luck, as not only do the major towns, but also smaller towns and villages, feature a vast array of smaller, independent shops offer an incredible range of local goods, from pottery and glass to fabrics.
