The Grey Street Hotel is Newcastle’s first boutique hotel. Set in a converted Grade II listed former Bank, the Grey Street Hotel can be found, as the name suggests, on Grey Street, at the junction with Mosley Street. Grey Street is one of Newcastle city centre’s most striking and historically important streets; the street is named after Earl Grey, the Northumbrian-born British Prime Minister of 1830-1834, whose monument dominates this magnificent Regency style street (one of the finest examples of Regency style architecture in the country and once voted ‘Best Street in Britain’ by listeners of BBC Radio 4).
