Hotel du Vin can be found at the very heart of Henley-on-Thames’ historic town centre, not far from the river upon which the town’s heritage and reputation were built. Henley remains one of the UK’s favourite historic towns, partly due to it being so easy to reach by car and, more fittingly, by boat. Many people use Henley as a stopping point as they explore the Thames by boat, and the range of traditional pubs, quaint tea rooms and restaurants make it an inviting place to visit. If passing trade represents a steady flow, then the annual Henley Regatta in late June sees the town positively awash with visitors. During the week-long event the activities on the river make an amazing spectacle, with thousands of spectators lining the river banks and grandstands to watch the fiercely competitive boat races, with old rivalries being rekindled and centuries old scores to settle. Henley’s charm is enduring, and there is no finer way of taking in the unique atmosphere than with a stay at Hotel du Vin.

The nearest mainline railway station is Henley-on-Thames, approximately 10minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Road:

From the M4

Turn off at Junction 8/9 and follow the A404 (M), signposted High Wycombe. Turn off the A404 and onto the A4130, which will take you into the centre of Henley. Once you reach Henley, go straight over the bridge and into the town centre. Go straight through the first set of traffic lights and up Hart Street. Then take the first right turn onto Bell Street, then turn first right onto New Street. You will find Hotel du Vin on New Street on the right hand side.

   
 

From the M40

Turn off the M40 at Junction 4, which is signposted A404 (M) Marlow. Turn off the A404 and onto the A4130, which will take you into the centre of Henley. Once you reach Henley, go straight over the bridge and into the town centre. Go straight through the first set of traffic lights and up Hart Street. Then take the first right turn onto Bell Street, then turn first right onto New Street. You will find Hotel du Vin on New Street on the right hand side.
