The Galpharm Stadium (formerly the McAlpine Stadium) is the home of Huddersfield Town Football Club and Huddersfield Rugby League Club. The uniquely designed 24,500 all-seater stadium was awarded the prestigious RIBA Building of the Year award in 1995, and is open for guided tours. In addition the site offers impressive facilities for conference and banqueting events.

Colne Valley Museum is a fascinating collection of three weaver's cottages of the 1840s, complete with restored weaver's workshop, living-room and a reconstructed clog-maker's workshop. Cropping display and temporary exhibitions add to this interesting snapshot of industrial heritage.
