The Lansdown Grove hotel is a Grade II listed Georgian building in the heart of Bath. Set in it's own private gardens, the hotel's prominent position affords it magnificent views over the city. The hotel is ideally located near the centre of the city, making it an ideal base for visiting Bath's many attractions including the impressive Abbey and the Roman Baths.

Popularly thought to have been founded by the mythical British King, Bladud in 863BC, Bath is famous for it's hot underground springs. The Romans built a vast complex of baths where the waters from its spring were believed to be a cure for many afflictions. The city became a popular pilgrimage centre with large numbers of visitors from across the Empire. The city now contains grand architectural buildings like the including Queen square, the Royal Crescent, the North and South parades and the Assembly Rooms.
