Croxteth Hall was built in the late 16 th Century, and was home to the Molyneux family, the Earls of Sefton, for over 400 years. Liverpool’s imposing Anglican Cathedral, the Cathedral Church of Christ, is the largest Cathedral in the UK, and the fifth largest in the world. Work commenced on the Cathedral in 1904, but it was not until 1978 that it was consecrated.
