The Museum brings the history of science and industry of the city to life, telling the story of the world's first industrial city through fascinating displays and exhibitions. The Manchester Museum has evolved from a quest for knowledge and development in medicine, science and art, fields in which the city of Manchester has excelled for two centuries. The museum allows visitors to explore the world, with 4 floors of displays and exhibitions in 15 galleries that feature collections from all over the world; with the famous Egyptology galleries; the new Science for Life gallery; Zoology collections featuring birds, mammals and live animals; ethnology collections from South America; and the Manchester Museum's own collections of fossils and minerals.

The Manchester United Trophy Room and Museum charts the history of one of the UK’s most famous and successful football clubs from 1878 to the present day. Three floors are packed with memorabilia, and include a Hall of Fame and of course the famous Trophy Room. There is an interactive floor where visitors can pick their Manchester United Dream Team, explore the club's official website, enjoy a virtual reality tour through the Old Trafford stadium, and even commentate on some of United’s finest moments.

The City of Manchester Stadium was built to host the 2002 Commonwealth Games and today the superb 48,000 seater stadium is home to Manchester City Football Club.
