The Old Wellington Inn

The building that is known as The Old Wellington Inn was built in 1552, making it Manchester’s oldest existing building. The magnificent timbered structure was, in 1974, lifted and moved from its original site to make way for the Arndale Shopping Centre. Since then it has continued its fine tradition of serving great beer in a friendly atmosphere.
