Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, Edinburgh

The Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel is a stunning venue located in the Scottish countryside just to the south-west of capital city Edinburgh. The attractive Hotel has two of its own golf courses and centres around an elegant manor. One of the golf courses is a Championship course which has hosted some tour events in years gone by. It is the golf courses that go a long way to make up the 1,000 acres of parkland that the Hotel finds itself set amid, and so there is plenty in the way of nature and wildlife for visitors to admire during their stay. And all this is just seven miles to the south-west of Edinburgh, views of which can be seen from the Dalmahoy itself. Not only are there great views of the city however, there are also excellent vistas of the parkland, golf courses and other surroundings from many of the Hotel’s windows and rooms. The Marriott is easy to reach from the nearby transport networks; the airport is fewer than 5 kilometres away and the nearest train station is approximately 10 kilometres away, while if travelling by car the A71 runs near to the Hotel and there is complimentary onsite parking for your convenience.

The Dalmahoy is not the only hotel from this group in Scotland and indeed in the Edinburgh region; there is another such venue in Edinburgh, as well as further hotels in Glasgow and on the eastern coast in Aberdeen. Meanwhile, back at the Dalmahoy Country Club there are more than 200 guest bedrooms on offer, including a selection of 12 suites. A number of the rooms look out at the parkland and golf courses, while all are equipped with an array of amenities. By air: Edinburgh International Airport is five kilometres from the Hotel.

By rail: The nearest main train station is in Edinburgh city centre and is 10 kilometres away.

By car: Leave the M8 from junction 3 and take the A899 Livingston Road south. On reaching the A71 take the second exit at the roundabout, followed by the first exit at the second roundabout. Continue along the A71 and you will eventually come to the Hotel on the right hand side.
