Blickling Hall, just outside Aylsham in Norfolk, is a splendid example of a Jacobean stately home, and the handsome 16th Century red brick building stands at the heart of beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds. Anne Boleyn spent her childhood at Blickling Hall, although there have been several alterations to the architecture since this time; the wonderfully ornate hall and picturesque grounds are open to visitors from April to October.
