Northamptonshire offers a good selection of shops and retail outlets, and there are several towns throughout the county with their fair share of shopping facilities. Perhaps the most extensive facilities can be found in Northamptonshire’s county town – Northampton. Northampton offers the familiar High Street names along with more unusual vendors, and also has a traditional outdoor market and modern indoor shopping centres such as The Grosvenor Centre and Peacock Place. The county’s other market towns – Daventry, Wellingborough and Kettering – also have a decent array of shops, while the more adventurous shopper will find that the extensive shopping facilities of Milton Keynes, London and Birmingham are just a short drive or train journey away.
