Norton Park Hotel (Formerly The Norton Manor) can be found close to the beautiful Hampshire village of Sutton Scotney. It is this location that makes Norton Manor so appealing: Heathrow Airport can be reached within 45 minutes, Gatwick Airport is just over an hour away, and at just 60 miles southwest of London and 25 miles northeast of Southampton, access via the M3 motorway couldn’t be easier.
The sight that greets you upon arrival at Norton Park is impressive. The complex is situated within 54 acres of glorious rolling Hampshire countryside, and after entering by the newly built entrance and following the freshly laid driveway (remembering to observe the somewhat eccentric on-site speed limit!), visitors’ first glimpse of Norton Park is of the Manor House itself. Built from attractive Wessex red and blue brick, this handsome building is the centrepiece of the complex. Find a parking space (the complex has ample car parking on-site) and take some time to explore your surroundings. From the lush croquet lawns and walled gardens to the beautiful private lake, the surroundings are serene and peaceful. That short drive from the city was certainly worth it.
The reception of the Norton Park complex can be found in one of the newer buildings. Turn left from the Manor House, passing the superbly preserved 400 year old Hampshire Barn on your left, and you will come across a collection of modern, purposeful looking buildings. This mixture of old and new emphasises the duality of Norton Park. On the one hand it is full of quintessential charm and rural splendour; a perfect place to get away from the pressures of modern life; while at the same time it offers some of the most extensive and up-to-date conference, banqueting and leisure facilities to be found in the south of England. It is ideal for conferences, training, team building and executive board retreats, as well as being a simply stunning wedding location; additionally, what better way to unwind than to spend a weekend away with the family in the heart of rural Hampshire?
