Formerly an outstanding example of the Moat House chain of budget accommodation, the Nottingham Moat House has recently become one of the Park Inn family of hotels, and will now be known as the Park Inn Nottingham. A modern and well-liked guest destination under its previous name, the hotel is less than a mile outside of Nottingham City centre and within easy reach of the A60. 

As a Moat House hotel, the newly renamed Park Inn Nottingham was a popular option, with excellent facilities for the whole family: 30 of its 172 rooms are tailored specifically towards families. After a long day’s sightseeing, the Savoy Bar and Grill provides a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience, with a range of menu options, from a la carte to simple bar snacks. A further valuable asset to the hotel is the Club Moativation – now renamed the Innovation Health and Leisure Centre – which includes a gym and swimming pool for the motivated guest, and a spa pool and steam room for those wishing to unwind at the end of the day. As you may expect from both the Moat House and Park Inn brands, facilities for business guests are also second-to-none. There are a number of business-friendly rooms available, and several in-house meeting rooms, which can accommodate between 2 and 180 representatives.

Along with the hotel’s new management, the former Nottingham Moat House will be undergoing an extensive refurbishment between November 2007 and March 2008, with renovated guest rooms reflecting Park Inn’s trademark colourful and contemporary décor. Visitors to the Park Inn Nottingham from March 2008 will no doubt appreciate the fresh and updated guest rooms and vibrant atmosphere.

As well as providing modern and comfortable guest accommodation, the Park Inn Nottingham is near to several of Nottingham’s most popular tourist attractions: as well as the shopping and nightlife you would expect from a city, the historic Nottingham Castle, and the interactive Tales of Robin Hood experience are both just a mile’s walk from the hotel, while the American Adventure Theme Park and the educational but entertaining Woolaton Hall and Park are only a short drive away.
