By Rail: Windermere Rail Station is just under 2miles by car from the hotel. The nearest mainline station is Oxenholme, approximately 12.5miles away.
By Road:
Approaching from the south on the M6, exit the motorway at Junction 36 and join the A590 onto the A591 towards Windermere. Once you reach Windermere, turn left onto the A5074 and follow the road south to Bowness-on-Windermere. Go straight over the mini-roundabout and the hotel will be behind the church on the right.
Approaching from the north on the M6, exit the motorway at Junction 37 and follow the A684 towards Kendal. Once in Kendal, turn right onto the A5284 Windermere Road and at the roundabout take the third exit onto the A591 towards Windermere. In Windermere, turn left onto the A5074 down to Bowness-on-Windermere, straight over the mini-roundabout and behind the church on the right hand side sits the Old England hotel.
