Radisson SAS Dokhan Hotel, Paris, Trocadero

The Radisson SAS Dokhan Hotel is a grand looking building located near to the Trocadero area of the French capital Paris. It opened at the beginning of March 2009 bringing the total number of venues from the group in the city to seven, with the Paris Eiffel Hotel also opening in the same month. The two new hotels follow in the footsteps of the Champs Elysees, the Charles De Gaulle Airport, the Disneyland Paris, the Ambassador and the Boulogne in the city.

The Radisson SAS Dokhan Hotel, with its Haussmann facade, was formerly a private residence in this stylish part of the capital and dates back as far as the 18th century and so visitors to the Radisson will be able to experience something of Paris’ past when visiting the hotel. The Dokhan Hotel claims to have the only champagne bar in the city and so offers something unique to its guests. The Radisson SAS Dokhan Hotel at Paris Trocadero is within walking distance of the central areas of the city and a number of its most well-known sights and attractions. A short walk away is the Arc de Triomphe, the Palais de Congres convention centre and, of course, the most famous of all, the Eiffel Tower.

Rooms
The Dokhan contains a total of 45 rooms, four of which are suites which offer added space and luxury. The rooms have been designed in a manner overseen by a French expert and feature traditional decor with a range of high-quality facilities and amenities such as wireless internet access. Some of the rooms boast fantastic views of the city of Paris which is a certain draw given the prestigious nature of the French capital.

Dining
The hotel’s restaurant gives visitors the opportunity to try out some excellent French cuisine. Some of the dishes are more innovative while some use more traditional cooking techniques. Open till one in the morning, the hotel’s bar is said to be the city’s only champagne bar and allows guests some relaxation time with some drinks to be enjoyed against a backdrop of music. The Radisson SAS Dokhan Hotel is a fairly small building and so does not feature any meeting or event rooms or any leisure facilities.

By air: The Radisson SAS Dokhan’s central position in Paris puts it approximately 40 minutes from the Charles De Gaulle airport to the north of the city and 30 minutes from Orly to the west.
